We live deep in the woods, and are so very happy. Hooray for nature! To celebrate I am sharing a card featuring a cute little critter from the Stampin' Up! "Nuts About You" Hostess stamp set.

Playing with Baby Town by Sweet Stamp Shop

Sweet Stamp Shop Baby
Hello friends! I am here to share a card I created using the Sweet Stamp Shop brand new release stamp set "Baby Town".
I have a weakness for baby stamp sets, and this set with the adorable elephant and the store front building has a little something for everyone. I used a very easy paper folding technique to my card. All you do is place your card stock on a score board and score evey two lines. Then fold it like an accordion  and gently press to make the fold lie down flat. Easy!
I am happy you stopped by today, and I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Halloween Is Just Around The Corner!

SUHalloween

Ok, so usually I am not that into making Halloween cards, but this year I made an exception. Stampin' Up released ADORALE photopolymer (clear) sets in the Holiday catalog that I just had to have.  I used 3 different SU ets to make this card. First, my hill side from "White Christmas".

Next the spoooooky house from "Holiday Home".

I also used the pumpkin, spider web and bats from this set.

I stamped the moon using a small circle from "What's  Your Type", another cute Stampin' Up! photopolymer set!

If you would like to order any of these sets I would love to be your Stampin' Up! demonstrator!

Please visit my online shop to order, and have your packages shipped directly to YOU!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Best Day Ever - Playing With The Papertrey Ink County Fair Make-It-Market Kit

The Best

Hello! Life in our house has been kind of crazy lately. We just seem to have gotten settled in from vacation, and next thing we know we are packing to move! We've been looking for a home in a particular area for quite sometime, and things just happened to take off like wildfire. So, in two weeks we will be moving about 30 minutes away. Anyways, we are excited!

To create my card I used the Papertrey Ink County Fair Make-It-Market kit. I love this kit so much. My card is pretty self explanatory. All stamps are from the kit. My bright pop of blue is the Stampin' Up! in-color Coastal Cabana. All of the ink I used to stamp is also from SU.

I am happy you stopped by, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

If You Can Dream - Sweet Stamp Shop Design Team!

SSS Blog Post1

I have admired the adorable, whimsical , and just plain FUN images from Sweet Stamp Shop for quite some time now. Much to my delight, I was asked to be on the design team, and here I am today with my first "official" post as a Sweet Stamp Shop designer. Yay! I am kicking off my term with a card, my first time to use a clear card base, featuring a journaling card from the On Cherry Street  Magical Kit.

One of the coolest things about these kits is that they don't sell out, and will be available in the store even when other kits are released. They are chock full of goodies, and at 15.95 for color journaling cards not on cheap card stock, lots of embellishments, and a stamp set! Just a great deal.

To create my card I die-cut my chevron metal plate 5 times, and glued them together to create my own chipboard card base. I die-cut the text pattern and adhered it to the top of my chevron base. I attached my journaling card and wood veneer crown to my chevron base. To finish I adhered the entire front to my clear acetate folded card base.

I am happy you stopped by, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
