Season's Greetings!

dec23

I wanted to take this time to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas! May you have a season filled with love and family.

Today I am showing you a peek at two of the Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration items that will be available Feb.1st. The items I am featuring are the cute banner stamp set, and the matching punch, each available with a $50 SU purchase starting Feb 1st. I stamped my banners using Gumball Green, Crumb Cake, and Cherry Cobbler new formula ink. *LOVE*  I also used the SU Top Note Die, and the Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder. I used Cherry Cobbler  Core'dinations, and Crumb Cake Card stock. I can't remember the last time I used only SU product on a card. LOL  Fear not, I love so many stamp companies, and will still be featuring cards made from all the companies that I love. ;)

Thank you for stopping by!

Flowers Are My Favorite!

dec22-1

Hello friends! My last post featured a card I created using the new ink formula from Stampin' Up! and red rubber stamps. Today I want to show you a card I created using the new formula SU ink pads and CLEAR stamps! They stamp beautifully! To create my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set Ruby Rose, one of my favorite floral sets. I love building blooms with this set. I stamped the flowers on my first card using Gumball Green, Baked Brown Sugar, Soft Sky, and Bermuda Bay.

dec22-2

For my second card I used Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Calypso Coral. I am so in love with these inks, and as you can see they stamp beautifully with rubber, or clear. I am offering a 10% on all SU ink pads purchases from my until Dec. 31st. You can visit my store here:

Thanks for visiting my blog  and have a great day!

A Sneak Peek!

SU3

You may surprised to know that as of recently I am a Stampin' Up Demo. I found myself not on any current design teams and thought I would update my ink pads using the demo discount. Truthfully, I hadn't even looked at a SU catalog since 2010 which was the last time I was a demo.  I signed up during the starter kit special in October. I got my box, thumbed through the catalog and was excited to see that SU was right along with a lot of the stamp trends out there. Now the thing that excites me the most about SU is the new ink pad formula. I was skeptical, but after using the ink with clear and rubber stamps, I will be replacing ALL of my ink pads with the new formula. It is amazing...seriously!

The card I have to show you today was created using brand new stamps that have not been released yet, but will be available Jan. 1st when the Occasions Mini Catalog goes live. I used Baked Brown Sugar and the new wood grain background stamp, and a new floral set that I stamped using Early Espresso. I stamped the flowers using Stippled Blossoms which is available in the current catalog. I added a silver frame, and machine stitching to finish off my card.

I am happy you stopped by, and if you would like to try out the new SU ink for yourself, I am offering a 10% discount on all SU Ink purchases from now until Dec. 31st. You can visit my SU website here:

Framed Christmas Greetings

DEC16

Today I have a fairly simple card to show you using Avery Elle stamps. I double stamped the wreath in two shades of green to give it a little extra added dimension. The beautiful ornate frame is by Crate Paper.  I am happy you stopped by and I hope you have a happy Monday!

Geometric Christmas Greetings

TTJoy

Hello hello! Today I have a card to show you featuring stamps from Technique Tuesday. I was trying to achieve a stained glass look on this card. I used Copic and Promarkers to color the image, and then applied Crackle Glaze by Ranger Ink and let it set up over night. I stamped the sentiments and added a machine stitched border around my card. I'm glad you stopped by and I hope you have a great weekend!

Keeping It Simple

pp1

Today I went a little outside of my comfort zone and used a non stamped image as my focal point. The poinsettia and greenery centerpiece is from the Pink Paislee Snow Village collection. The music bar, and stamped Christmas sentiment are the stamps also from the Snow Village collection. I added a little bit of cream twine to finish off my card. What do ya think?

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Noel

TTNoel

Hello friends. Today I have a card to show you that I created using stamps from Technique Tuesday stamp set "Trendy Trees".  I paper pieced the trees using patterned paper from Lawn Fawn, and Echo Park. I kept my card clean and simple because I am playing along with this weeks CAS-ual Fridays Challenge. It has been a LONG time since I joined in on the fun!

I used 8 design elements to create my card!

1.) tree stamp with dashes
2.) tree stamp with rectangle pattern
3.) Noel stamp
4.) dotted patterned paper
5.) green multi hue patterned paper
6.) machine stitching
7.) red chevron ribbon
8.) Linen/Canvas impression plate from PTI

I hope you like my card, and I hope you have a wonderful week. Thanks for stopping by!

The Cutest Fox Ever

lawnfawn1

Hello friends! For those of you that celebrated Thanksgiving this past week I hope it went well.

Today I have a card to show you using Lawn Fawn stamps that I created for the Lawn Fawn 2014 CHA Catalog Challenge!

To create my card I used "Into The Woods". There are a lot of "fox" out there, but this one is my favorite without a doubt. I gave my fox a snow bank to sit in using white glitter felt that I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I cut it free hand. Easy peasy! I added chipboard letters, and some super cute hounds tooth washi tape. I hope you like my card! Thanks for stopping by!

May Peace Be With You

Hello! Today I have a card to show you that I created using a beautiful new stamp set from Unity Stamp Company,   Arianna Girl by Angie Blom.  I stamped this beauty using my new favorite gold ink "Delicata" by Tsukineko. I kept the card CAS because the image is just too pretty to not be the entire focal point. I added gold stitching on the side, and used gold card stock by American Crafts as my card base.  I apologize for the picture but we haven't had a sunny day for the past several days! Hopefully tomorrow the sun will be shining and I can re-take this picture.  I'm happy you stopped by today, and before I go I need to post the winner of my little blog candy giveaway. The winner is:

#10 - House Built Of Cards! Please send me an email at    alwaysctr at yahoo.com with your mailing address and I will send a box of goodies your way!

Have a wonderful day!

Merry and Bright!

n&t

Hello and happy Friday! Today I have a card to show you featuring stamps from Neat and Tangled. The set I used is called "Merry and Bright". To create my shimmering ornaments I first stamped the ornaments in Stampin Up classic ink. Next I stamped the same stamp using Versamagic ink and I sprinkled diamond embossing powder and heat set them. Everything else is pretty much self explanatory. I love the way they turned out! I'm happy you stopped by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

WPlus9 Monday Mood Board - Joyeux Noel

mmb3

Hello! Today, for the first time, I am playing along with the  WPlus9 Monday Mood Board # 23 using this beautiful inspiration photo:

                                                                 So beautiful, isn't it?

To create my card I used the beautiful WPlus9 stamp sets Woodland Wreaths, and Pretty Poinsettias. I stamped the wreath using Stampin' Up ink Pistachio Pudding, and Wild Wasabi. I stamped the poinsettia using SU Only Apricot for the lighter shade, and  Ginger by Fresh Ink. I love peach poinsettias, they remind me of my Great Grandmother.  My patterned paper is from the Pink Paislee Snow Village collection.  I used the Mama Elephant stitching die to create my embossed card bases.

I am so happy you stopped by today!

Thankful For You!

AANov

Hello! Today I am playing with this months AveryElle AEI<3u challenge:="" p="">
To create my card I used two Avery Elle stamp sets, Fill In The Blank, Handwritten Notes and the   Icon Fill In the Blank coordinating die set.  I used washi tape from My Minds Eye to create my cloud themed back drop.

This card started out as a submission from a couple of months ago that was rejected. Gasp! lol, I decided something wasn't right, so after a COMPLETE over-haul, I came out with the card you see today. Here is a picture of what my card idea looked like in the beginning:

You can see I had to re-stamp everything, and change up the background. I am much happier with the end result!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Photography 101 And Some Blog C-A-N-D-Y

GT3rs

I recently asked for advice for photography help from my friend Joscelyne Cutchens, and her pointers were #1- Use a tripod. #2 Take pictures in full sun #3 Use a filter   I feel like my pictures are hit and miss, so yesterday we had a nice sunny day, and I took pictures using a new pedestal I picked up at Target. I will be using it for all of my Christmas cards, and maybe beyond! I LOVE the way this picture turned out!  To create my card I used the beautiful stamp set from WPlus9 - Woodland Wreaths. I love multi-step stamping, and the beautiful results you achieve. I used the Mama Elephant stitched frame die to create my embossed stitching around my white card layer. The red patterned paper card base is paper I have been hoarding for over 5 years from Stampin Up. I'm glad I saved it because it was exactly what I was looking for when I put this card together!

So what do you think, do you give this new photo set up a thumbs up? I have some current Christmas product from My Minds Eye, and Pink Paisely to share  with one lucky commenter from this post!

I am happy you stopped by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

pswish2

Hello friends! Taking a break from Holiday cards to show you a fun, and "busy" card I created using  my favorite Paper Smooches stamp set, Royal Cuteness. My star patterned background, and gold card stock are from American Crafts.  I added a machine stitched border using gold thread. Neat huh? I'm happy you stopped by and I hope you have a great day!

Merry And Bright

10MinDash2

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Today I have a card I created for the current 10 Minute Craft Dash # 29. The challenge this week was to use buttons.

I finished my card in 8:53. Threading the buttons was the most time consuming part in making my card. I used the PTI set Rustic Wreath to create my card. I stamped the wreath using a beautiful, highly recommended by my friends, ink Delicata Golden Glitz ink by Tsukineko. It is tough to tell from this picture but it stamps SO beautifully. It is the best gold ink pad I have ever used!

I am happy you stopped by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

A Warm Fall Day...

mim1

Hello and Happy Wednesday! I'm not sure what the weather is like in your part of the world but here in Arkansas it is warm! The AC is  running today! But despite the unseasonably warm temperature I am still starting to get excited for the upcoming Holiday Season! Today I created a card for this weeks Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge - Inlaid Die Cuts.

To create my card I used the new PTI Stitched Snowflake die. I thought it would be a fun twist on the technique to partially raise the ends of the snowflake. I really like the way it turned out! I hope you like my CAS card, and I'm happy you stopped by today!

ptihop2

I used one of my favorite PTI sets "Peaceful Pinecones" and matching die set. I also used the PTI sentiment set "Happiest Of Holidays". It took no time at all to create this set! Thank you for stopping by, and I will try and visit as many of you today as I can! Have a great day and happy hopping!
